George King was born in Windsor, Ontario on November 3, 1955. He articled with
the McTague Law Firm prior to joining the firm in 1982 and became a partner in
1987. He attended Walkerville Collegiate Institute where he graduated in 1974
and received the Honourable Paul Martin Award. Mr. King attended the University
of Western Ontario where he received both a B.A. and LL.B. Mr. King is the Senior
Partner in the Employment and Labour Law Department. Mr. King practises solely
in the representation of employers throughout Ontario in labour and employment
law matters. Specifically, Mr. King represents public and private sector organizations
with respect to collective bargaining, arbitrations, Labour Relations Board matters,
Occupational Health and Safety and wrongful dismissal matters. As well, Mr. King
provides employers with day to day management advice with respect to ongoing labour
and human resource matters and interpretation of labour and employment legislation.
